Small sparks.
Deep roots.
Embers & Oak Games is a Black-owned tabletop publisher discovering, nurturing, and licensing games from emerging designers — bringing untold stories and hidden talents to the table.
"Embers symbolizes the spark of new ideas rising from the ashes, while Oak represents enduring strength and the deeply rooted creativity that fuels our mission."
Inspired by the resilience of Tulsa's Greenwood District — once known as Black Wall Street — and all of its traditions, our name is a promise: small sparks, new ideas, underrepresented creators, can grow into something lasting and strong.
Growing the Table
Publishing games is only half of it. Before our first release, we're building a welcoming home for board game and TCG players of every experience level.
Learn-to-Play Nights
Welcoming, no-experience-required sessions for board games and TCGs alike — because the biggest barrier to a new hobby is the first game.
Designer & Player Meetups
Spaces where emerging designers test ideas with real players, and players discover new games before anyone else does.
Online Community
A home base to talk strategy, trade decks, and find your next game night — on the table and off it.
